Taxibrousse is a platform for booking bus-taxi (taxi-brousse) trips and a services marketplace in Madagascar. By using them you acknowledge that you have read and accepted them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You can create an account with your email and a password, or through Facebook or Google. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information, keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for actions taken with your account. We may suspend or close an account in case of fraud, abuse or breach of these terms.
Taxibrousse connects travelers with transport operators (cooperatives). A booking is confirmed when you receive the confirmation (on screen, by email, SMS or WhatsApp) and, if payment is required, once it is validated. Schedules, fares and seats shown are provided by operators and may change; transport remains the operator's responsibility.
The cancellation, change and refund conditions that apply are those shown at the time of booking and may vary by operator. For any request, contact us at olivier@taxibrousse.mg with your booking number.
Payments are made by Mobile Money (Airtel Money, MVola, Orange Money) or any other means offered on the site. Prices are shown in Malagasy ariary (MGA). Payment is processed by the payment operator: Taxibrousse never sees or stores your PIN. A transaction not validated by the operator does not entitle you to the service. If you were charged without a booking confirmation, contact us with the transaction reference.
The marketplace lets you order products or services offered by sellers and partners. Each seller is responsible for the description, availability, quality and delivery of what it offers. Taxibrousse acts as a technical intermediary.
You must not use the service unlawfully or fraudulently, impersonate others, disrupt the site, mass-extract its data, publish unlawful content or bypass security measures.
By providing your phone number you agree to receive by SMS or WhatsApp verification codes and notifications about your bookings and payments. You may ask to stop non-essential messages at any time.
We do our best to keep the site available and accurate, without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Taxibrousse is not liable for delays, cancellations or incidents during transport, for indirect damages arising from use of the site, or for third-party services (payment operators, Meta, Google). This does not limit the rights the law grants you.
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy. The site's content, trademarks and logos are protected; reproducing them without permission is prohibited.
These terms are governed by Malagasy law. In case of dispute we first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the competent Malagasy courts will have jurisdiction. We may change these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page. Contact: olivier@taxibrousse.mg.
