How to request deletion of your Taxibrousse account and data, including data received from Facebook or Google, and what is deleted or retained.
Data Deletion
User data deletion instructions, in particular for people who signed in with Facebook or Google.
Send an email to olivier@taxibrousse.mg with the subject "Data deletion", from the email address, or stating the phone number, linked to your Taxibrousse account. There is no automatic deletion button yet: the request is handled by our team.
State your name, the email address and/or phone number of your account, and whether you signed in with Facebook or Google. We may ask for an additional confirmation (for example a code sent to your email or phone) to verify your identity and prevent someone else from having your account deleted.
If you used Facebook Login, we received your Facebook ID, name, email address and profile picture. To delete this data: 1. Remove Taxibrousse's access in Facebook: Settings > Apps and Websites, then remove "Taxibrousse". 2. Send us the request described above; we delete the data received from Facebook and your account from our systems. For Google: remove access from your Google account (Security > Third-party access), then send us the request. Removing access at Facebook or Google does not by itself erase the data Taxibrousse has already stored.
After verification, we delete or anonymize: - your account and profile (name, email, phone, picture); - data received from Facebook and Google; - your stored WhatsApp contacts and messages; - your sign-in tokens and sessions; - your images uploaded to Cloudinary.
Some information may be kept in a limited way where the law requires it or to protect our rights: invoices, payments, bookings and accounting records, and the logs needed for security or fraud prevention. They are used only for those obligations.
We handle your request within 30 days and confirm by email once deletion is done. If the request is incomplete or there is a difficulty, we will write to you to complete it.
Taxibrousse cannot delete data that Meta (Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp), Google, Airtel Money, MVola, Orange Money or your mobile carrier hold on their own account. Contact those services directly to exercise your rights with them.
